Hello to all,
I am descendant OCHS also but mine as far back as I can get are 1720's in Varsad, Tolna County, Hungary and before that most likely Hesse as just about all people who settled in Varsad in the 1720's were Hessian. Also my LOTZ came to Tolna County around the same period from Storndorf/OberBreidenbach, Hessen-Darmstad it looks like also.
Also, there is a massive LOTZ family who came to Izmeny, Tolna Co, Hungary in the same period that was from Schluchtern, Hessen.
Anyone want to try to make an OCHS or LOTZ connection to 2 of the largest families in the Swabische Turkei?? Please contact.
