Looking for STARK family possibly from Germany to PA and MD.

George E. STARK born about 1868. He married Margaret STEELE about 1893 possibly in MD.

They had the following children:

Eugenie or Eugenia STARK daughter, born abt 1894 in MD
Lillie STARK daughter, born abt. 1896 in MD
George Edward STARK (my grandfather) born April 10, 1900 in Niverton, Elk Lick Township, Somerset, PA
Annie May STARK daughter born abt. 1903 in MD
Charles or Charlie STARK son, born abt. 1906 in MD

oscar alexander stark

My great-grandmother's full name was Anna Katharina Sophia Kalbitz, geb. Starken. She came alone to the USA in November 1881, her husband Max Friedrich August Kalbitz having come ahead of her. I think the Starken name may be related to the name Stark.

I have renewed my hobby and have hit a "dead end". I am looking for information on my maternal great-grandparents by the names of Joseph Roushman and Doris Stark, both of Hamburg. Joseph's DOB is Oct 23, 1852. I believe that the DOB for Doris is July 23, 1842. Also, paternal great-great-grandparents by the names of Henry Messerschmidt and Louise Lighritz.

My great great grandfather was Oscar Alexander Stark from Germany and I am trying to trace this futher back, if you could help with any info I would appreciate it.

My wife is the great granddaughter of Oscar Alexander Stark, born about 1838 in Saxem-Weimer, Germany (died in 1919 in South Africa). He was married to Aletta Johanna Hatting, born 1849 and dies 1913 in South Africa as well.

Whether this Oscar Alexander Stark is the same person that you are looking for, I am not sure
