I'm trying to find information about my great, great grand father Johannes William Luks (probably anglicized spelling).

All I know for sure is that he was a Lutheran minister who lived in Prussia and had a son, Henry William Baldwin Luks who was born 1841 in Prussia but eventually moved to England and was naturalised on 26 April, 1873, becoming a photographer/fine arts dealer of some note in London. He had 8 children, one of whom was Ernest Henry William Sydney Luks, an electrical draftsman who had three children, Pauline (my Mum), Barbara and Peter.

I've read about a Johann Wilhelm Luks, Lutheran Pastor of the church in Nakel (- German name), Nakło nad Notecią (- Polish name)
Born (?) 1796
Previous rector of the church in Reisenberg (Western Prussia).
Died (?) in Nakel 30 August 1853, aged 57 years
but can't yet establish a definite connection or find any of his family details.

Suggestions or leads greatly appreciated.
