I could use some help in identifying what type of mill is depicted in a RITTER family heirloom hand painted cup and saucer. An ancestor owned a mill in Erfurt (possibly in Neuerbe area) in the mid 1800s, but I'm not sure what kind. Maybe someone here can help. Two buildings show in the background with green doors, a fenced in yard has wood planks and a large blue wheel of sorts and in the foreground are a number of tree logs stacked up and others being delivered. I'm guessing that it celebrates an ancestor turning 21 as those dates align, but I'm not sure. Any thoughts? I have posted pictures at
