Ed ... there was one more really special thing that happened when I got the Red Cross information back! It mentioned in the report that someone in Germany had made a similar request back in 2002. I immediately authorized the Red Cross to give my contact information to that person. Guess what? It turned out that my great-uncle had a son that we didn't know about. I am now in contact with him. My 80+ year old mother has a cousin she never knew about! How wonderful! Carol
