I am looking for the family of Anna Louise Chmielorz, born in 1890 in Germany. She was married to a Reinhold Wolf ca. 1910.
she has a son Horst Reinhold Wolf born in 1911, another son Kurt Wolf born ca. 1912? died in WWII. She divorced Mr. Wolf and was married to Max Haukauf, date not known, and had two daughters to this marriage, Rita Maria and Ingrund, dates not known birth dates. Anna came to the U.S. in April 1948 to the home of her son Horst Wolf. She lived in New York and died in Hawley, Pa. in 1958.
Horst Wolf came to the U.S., age 18, in 1929 with a Hedag Chmielorz, age 54,relative? and settled in Hartford, Conn. He went by the Chmeilorz name, his mother's maiden name, but had it legally changed later in life to his father's name of Wolf.
We are attempting to make contact with any member of this family. It is very important to a granddaughter, Rachel Wolf, to find her side of the family who came from Germany. Your help will be very much appreciated. Thank you.
