Help! I have very little information on the Gehring's. My grandmother was Mary Agatha Gehring. Her parents were Johann Herman Gehring and Anna Hoffman. Anna (Hoffman) Gehring second marriage was to Casper Wensman. I do not have any information on her parents.

I am also looking for information on Johann Theordore Gehring. His first wife was Margaretha Roering (also seen as Reering and Boering). His second wife was Gertrude Kottman. I do not have any dates for him except marriage dates. He married Margaretha Roering 27 Sep 1853 in Ahaus, Westfalen, Preussen. After see passed away he married Gertrude Kottman 17 Jun 1862 in Ahaus, Westfalen, Preussen. He died in Westfalen. After he died Gertrude (Kottman) Gehring came to America in 1888 with 3 of her sons, but passed away about 2 weeks after arriving. She died in Wisconsin. Two of the boys stayed in Wisconsin, While great grandfather Herman Gehring settled in Cottonwood, Idaho.
