I am looking for more information on my husband's great-great-great grandfather, Nickolas Welk. He is found in the 1900 census in the United States in Texas, Dallas County, in the city of Rowlett. The census says he was born in Germany. I can't find him in the 1880 census so I believe he must have come to the US between 1880 and 1900.

Can anyone help me?
