According the baptisimal records of the Evangelische Kirche at Pirmasens Platz; a son was born to Jacobus and Elizabeth Meyer Siegristen on October 17, 1730.
The son was named Johannes Valentine Siegristen.
A Valentine Siegrist was naturallized in Baltimore County Maryland in 1772 after he had supposidely landed there as
an indentured servant in 1765.
A Valentin Secrest is later found in Fayette County Pa. in 1785 with a large family and the owner of property.
I would like to be able to prove the information above refers to the same person. This would mean proving the whereabouts of Valentine from Pirmasens to perhaps Rotterdam Holland or other port, to the east coast of the US, perhaps to Baltimore.
Any assistence or suggestions would be appreciated. I have accumulated information on the various lines of this family with the gracious help of several people.. We would be glad to share information in order to prove this theory.
Thank you for your interest.
