Well my name is Erika Hess, my mother is Magret (Windhorn) Hess, daughter of Lillianne (Rolappe) Windhorn- my grandma. We are all still located in Pennsylvania, i live in the allentown area and the rolappes are mainly in palmerton area. Yes I am Carl Rolappes Grand daughter. I am the daughter of Hannelore Rolappe who is the daughter of Carl Rolappe and Gertrude Dinnemann. They spell it Dunnemann I think. The only Dunnemann in the family I knew growing up was Uncle Juergen Dunnemann. Our family is from Bremen Germany, They came to New York I believe, in 1952, on the S.S. United States lived in Brooklyn N.Y. until they sold their home in 1974? and moved to Palmerton, Pennsylvania. Opa passed away in October 1967, Oma in April 1997, mom in March 2000.
