I am chasing any family or information of Ferdinend Herman Robert Riebe who was born 24 December 1854 in Landsburg, Brandenburg, I have no parents or brothers and sisters names. He married Catharina Janeczek [bor c1855 in Bomst, Posen], in 1877, I don't know where they married except that it was in Prussia. They came out to Australia around 1882. Does anybody know of the family or can point me in the right direction to find them?

My curiosity is peaked by your interest in the name Casperke. I'm descended of the Casperkes of Breslau. What info might you have on the name, it's been very hard for me to track down.

Hi My name is Julie Adnum (Calderbank) my great grandfather was Ferdinend Riebe and he married Catharina Janeczek. He was a General in the Prussian Army and I think he owned Turkish Baths and my grandfather was Robert Joseph riebe also a hairdresser born in 1882 in Bremen Germany and married Clara Caroline wilemena rosenfeld.
