Dear Barb,
Thank you for writing to me. Yes, I am sure we are related, however, there is something wrong with your dates. Maria Anna Eisenmann's birth date you have as 1803 and her father you have as John Baptist Eisenmann who was born 1799. Perhaps, she is a sibling of John Baptist Eisenmann and not his daughter. I descend from his son, Joseph Eisenmann, who married Sophia Brischle. John Baptists Eisenmann is the son of Andrea Eisenmann and his wife Theresia Rubi. I have written a book and this family is in it back to the 1600's or so. I included all the German descendants of my children, of which this family is a part of. I have a lot on them. They traveled the same path to Ste. Genevieve, through Ohio. I have my first hand information from Fritz Eisenmann, son of Peter who married Julia Hogenmiller who was the youngest son of Joseph, the son of John Baptist. I have a family picture of Joseph and Sophie. My manuscripts are at the publishers and I will have it back in about a month, if all goes well. I also have a Native American family included, which is part of my father's family. That is the only family that is not German in my family. I wish I had my index here, I would check it for Rottler. Regards, Jeanne
