Wonder if we are all searching for the same Martin LOY, who married Catherine FAUST and died in ORANGE CO. NC.
Know how tradition has the name repeated in the family, perhaps I'm looking for the wrong one, as mine is said to be born in 1722 in Heidelburg.
I have also often seen the name Johannes George, or George Johannes. The Martin I am searching for a 1st son named George, the 2nd named John.
How I love my German ancestors, especially since mine ALL seem to go by their middle names, which weren't listed in the records.
