Two sons emigrated in 1882 to America, and lived in the Lucas County, Ohio area in the mid 1920s....

There were four (4) sons and four (4) daughters known born to this marriage. Two (2) sons and four (4) daughters remained in Wurrtemberg, Germany....

The two (2) sons known to have migrated to America were:

Anton/Antone/Anthony Neuer, b. about 1857, emigrated in 1882 to Pennsylvania, USA, naturalized 1900, was a farmer first in Whiteford Township, Monroe County, Michigan, USA, and then moved to Lucas County, Ohio. He lived in Sylvania Village, Sylvania, Lucas County; Delta, Fulton County, Ohio, and he died May 29, 1932, in Delta, Fulton County, Ohio, USA. Anton was married to Anna M. Unknown NEUER, b. 1880, in Michigan; they married about 1902. To this marriage, three children were born before 1910: Myrtle M. Neuer HARTMANN, Wilfred A[nthony] NEUER; and Ethel L[uella] NEUER [Unknown Married Surname]. Anton's widow, Anna M. Unknown NEUER, died November 19, 1962, in Sandusky County, Ohio, USA, and she was residing in Ottawa County, Ohio, at the time of her death....

Another son, Josef 'Joseph' W. [Willem/William/Wilfred] NEUER, b. abt 1866, Wurrtemberg, Germany, emigrated in 1882, naturalized in 1900; he was a butcher. He lived in Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio, until his death, in 1926. He was employed as a butcher in Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio, until retirement. Josef W. 'Joseph' NEUER was married to the former Elizabeth BOEHM and to this marriage the following children were born: John J. NEUER; Joseph A. NEUER; Joanna Catherine NEUER; George William NEUER and Mary NEUER ZEILER. Joanna Catherine NEUER died at the age of 20, in Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio, USA; George W. NEUER died at the age of 18, in Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio, USA; John J. Neuer, died in 1957, in Erie, Erie County, Pa, USA; Joseph A. NEUER died in 1962, in Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio, USA; Mary A. NEUER ZEILER died in 1982, in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. Josef 'Joseph' W. NEUER died in February 1926, in Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio, USA.
