Felix STEINER born Zuffenhausen about 1808 emigrated to Wisconsin in 1856 with at least one son. In 1867 four daughters followed. Family legend says that three sons and six daughters of a family of twelve came to Wisconsin. Can anyone tell me how complete the Emigration Index is? Is it likely that the index would list four girls if six came at the same time, for instance? And can anyone give me a clue as to how to locate any of the STEINERS who may still be in the Stuttgart area? And help would be appreciated.
