My ggrandmother was Elisabeth Miller Moehring, born 10/1873 in Baden-Baden Germany. According to family her name could've been Barbara Elisabeth or Elisabeth Barabara Miller. According to 1900 census she was in Iroquois county, Il, single with a son John age 6. Census shows she was born in Germany, son John was born in Iroquois county Il.. Family seems to think she came from the Baden-Baden area. We have no info on her side of the family, we do not know her parents or siblings, If any of this sound familar please contact me. Will share what I have. She married a man name John V. Moerhing and lived in IN. Name in Germany was either Muller (i think with umlauts) or Mueller and then changed to Miller.
