I am seeking information on the Offergeld family of Aix La Chappell, which is now known as Aachen.
My ancestor was Amelia Offergeld, born around 1806-1811. She was born in Aachen and married Charles Kohler and lived in Dublin, Ireland, before moving to Mount Vermont in New York, USA.
Her father was an officer in Blucher's army in Prussia. I have more information on Amelia and would be very happy to share it with anyone interested. Thank you.
