Hello,
I am desparately searching for ANY information,reguarding my Fuhrmann family ancesters,and possible decendants,of these people.My grandfather was Ernst Herbert Fuhrmann.His parents,were Edward,and Anna Fuhrmann.There were also 3 other children born to Edward and Anna:Alfred,Kurt,and daughter,Lisbeth.All were from Elbing,Germany.In 1923,they made a trip to the States,on the ship Suffren,and ended port,at Ellis Island.There is no other info either before,or after,this trip,about any of the family,except my grandfather,who ended up living in Mo.Everyone else has just seemed to have vanished,after the trip to Ellis Island.We know only that Edward,Anna,Alfred,Kurt,and Lisbeth,went back to Germany,at some point.When they came to the States,Ernst was just 17 years old.He was born August,1906,in Elbing,Germany.He married my grandmother:Irene Sieckmann,in Missouri.They had 4 children:Herbert Eugene,Robert Edward,Darleen Ann,and Curtis Allen.I am the eldest of Herberts 3 girls,Missy.Is there ANYONE out there,who knows ANYHING?????????
