I am a descendant of Frantisek Filipi who was born in Teleci. Frantisek, his wife Anna Jonas and three children (Josef, Frank, and Adolph) immigrated in 1881 to Howells near Clarkson, Colfax County, Nebraska. There could be a possible connection with you. I have extensive research on this family. It is my understanding that the Filipi's were brought from Italy for the construction of a famous castle in Litmysl, Bohemia during the Renaissance period. They were tinsmiths. Two brothers by the name Filipi. I have more on this if interested. I am currently trying to find info on my generation of Filipi's in Bohemia. The Generation that lived and died in Bohemia. But I have not hit a lead yet.
