Location of Silesian records for ancestors??!!

Classification: Query
Surnames: LUDWIG
I just found a record of the birth date of my 4 greatgrandfather, Franz Joseph LUDWIG, in the Bethlehem Moravian Church record, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania USA . It lists his date of birth as Wenewitz, Silesia in 1766 and also states he joined the church in Niesky in 1784. All this is a good luck, for me, record of what happened before his immigration to Northampton County.
The problem is Im having trouble finding records in Silesia. It was sometimes, Polish, Czech, Austrian, and German. With a name like Franz Joseph I would go for Austrian Silesian records but dones anyone know where you can find them. I also typed in the town Wenewitz and didnt find anything in Silesia. But then territorially I guess it was always a mess.

Any help where I should go or where I could find records is so appreciated.

Neil
