Hi, Mary Jo. My ancestors came from Pola (now Pula) at the tip of the Istrian Peninsula (formerly Austria & Italy). I don't know where G.Kris is. Can you give some reference? As far as I know, Pola is the only home town. My grandparents came to NY about 1912, went back to Pola around 1919, and returned to NY around 1922.
We don't have any Michael in the family ancestors that I know of. Neither is there a Josephine. Maggie
