My great, great grandfather, Johann (John) Schwartzenberg, born 1808 in Switzerland/Austria, married Margaretha Shnider, who was born in Germany in 1818. They both migrated to the USA before 1835, the year their first child was born. His Aunt, )_Princess Anna Maria also came with them, but went on to Vermont and settled and lived in Bethel, Vermont.
Our family knows nothing of his parents or line. We do know that he was a Prince.
