I'm also trying to find the SCHECHTER family.Fingers crossed ! Do you have a GITTEL SCHECHTER on your tree ? She was married to NACHMAN BERGMANN. They had a son LIEB who was born in KOLOMYYA. They lived in Vienna and had a son JOSEF BERGMANN ( my late father )
