Am seeking information on the name Hochreiter. It originated in Austria, but the name was changed to Eoste in the early 1900s when Frank Henry immigrated. I understand he had relatives that stayed behind in Austria. I can find no Eoste name anywhere, so that name must have been made up or changed from Yost or a variation.
Frank Henry settled in New York City, NY, USA and stayed until his death around 1971.
