Frederick Reinbeck was my Great Great Grandfather. He died on 6/27/1890 and is buried with his wife in rural Marshall county in Central Illinois. Family lore says that he was orphan raised by a wealthy uncle. Spoke 4-5 languages and became a priest. Had issues with treatment of nuns and left. Importer of lace from London to NYC. Partner lost capital in stock market so Frederick took his lace to New Orleans sold it came to Marshall county via Mississippi And IL rivers and purchased farm ground and lived out life as a farmer. Oldest daughter Mary Jane married James R Newman my great grandfather and civil war veteran who settled near the Reinbeck after the war.
