My own conclusions would be similar ... The whole thing however IS confusing, frankly speaking. OTOH - you have got names of and some details on relatives to research further, that's something to work with. Not really bad, I think.
You have probably tried to check census data, SS index and everything else in the US - this should bring about some clarification.

You yourself can't do it, this boards administrator should and eventually may do it. Doesn't make that much difference though, since everything in this thread will be found when searching for surnames and everything else. If you are really eager to have it moved, just click on the 'Report Abuse'-link below and ask for things to be moved.
