Hi,
I am looking for some insight into the meaning of the numbers for the 1900 Census index of Graz, Austria. I have found Josip Zupancic listed with the numbers 11245 in the right hand column.
Could this mean I could use the first two numbers 11 to find him in the 1900 census of Graz on the LDS film for Band 10-12, then the next three numbers are 245. Is this a street address or a district or a page number? Most of the other index numbers were 4 or 5 digits long. I could not make out what the far right column heading over the numbers said exactly.
Someone who has used this index should know what these numbers mean to find the entry in the census.
Thanks for any assistance or insight for this census index.
