Searching for descendants and siblings of Andrew HANIFL and
Rose SHAW and their son Karl Hanifl, b.14 Sept 1853 in Oggau,Hungary (now Austria) d. 27 May 1916 in La Crosse, WI. Karl married Theresa Laschitz, b. 5 Oct 1854 daughter of Paul Laschitz. Theresa and Karl had the following children:
Sophie, Frank John, b 9 Sept 1881, John b. 24 June 1883,
and Mary b. 23 Mar 1886. (all born in Oggau, all died in
La Crosse, WI.)

Oggau is German name of Austrian village in the Burgenland, just north of Rust on the Neusiedler See. It's east of Eisenstadt. Hungarian name (pre 1921) was Oka (Sopron megye). Church LDS microfilm records are numbers 0700433-4.
