Following is all the information I have and I am at a dead end. According to the 1911 Danish Census of St Thomas. Catherine Busby (my wife's great grandmother) was Anglican and born in St Eustatuis in 1851. She emigrated to St Thomas in 1860. According to family information she died in St Thomas in 1921. Also, according to the census she was living with her illegitimate daughter (my wife's grandmother) Alice Lamarche (born Levine) and Alice's legitimate family of seven children at 17 Kongensgale Street, Kings Quarter of Charlotte Amalie. Also living in the home, owned by Alice's husband Christian Lamarche, was a "foster child" named Arabella Lespire, age 24 (born 1887 on St Eustatius), Roman Catholic. She emigrated to St Thomas in 1887. Because of the relative rarity of the Arabella name and the association with Busby and St Eustatius I thought that there is probably some relationship. I welcome any information you may have.

I havent found a connection with Richard Bonds bubsy yet.

I ordered microfilm from the LDS Catalog for a nominial fee. This happened several years ago so I don't have the exact Internet address but the following gives you the film numbers:

I am not sure, my Busby's seemed to evaporated. My Arabella married a McBean and moved to New York.
Because of the customs, (she might have been my mother's aunt or great aunt), but we all refered to her as aunt Arabella.
My maternal grandmother was a Busby, and I am still trying to sort out who was whom.
Maybe we can join forces.

I am looking for any information on my cousin Stella Henderson (Grandbay/Lalay), daughter of John Henderson. She was born in Dominica and settled in St. Thomas.

She should be in her fifties or possibly in her early sixties.

When I last saw her in 1979 she had a daughter only about 2 or 3 years old.

A long time has passed since your post but maybe you will be able to help me. My wife's family is descended from the Busby of Statia and St Thomas (maternal). Her great grandmother was Catherine Busby from Statius. In the 1911 Census of St Thomas an Arabella Lapine (age 20, Catholic) was listed as a "foster child" living with Catherine in the household of my wife's grandmother. She is also listed as emigrating to St Thomas in 1887. Could this be Arabella Busby and if so do you have any additional information on the Busby's?

Thomas Louis Laplace and Augustine Claristine had a daughter named Marie Claristine who married Jerome Louis Querard. They had three daughters; Anne Querard and twin girls: Edna Marie and Alice Veronica Querard. I would be interested in any information you may have on any of the above. Nevis - Ophelia Hendrickson

Looking for information on Ophelia Hendrickson and her family. Ophelia died in Newcastle, Nevis in 1880.

She had a nephew by the name of William J. Hendrickson who was born in Nevis and migrated to Trinidad. He died in Port of Spain, Trinidad in 1893.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

We desparately need your help. We are trying to locate information on the burial of my great grandfather, Harold Agustos Lanclos. The family believes he died somewhere in the early 50s (1952, 53, or 54). My family visited Dept of Public Works, Lutheran Church, and Vital Statistics and none of these places could locate any information. He died and was buried in St. Thomas. If you can assist us in obtaining any information, it will be greatly appreciated. My aunt recently passed and we are trying to acquire this information so that she can be placed to rest with her grandfather. Thanks in advance.

Hello. So you have been in contact with Svend? Maybe I should too, but I think it is a bit awkward since I have never spoken to him. But my family tree traces back to Jospeh Baptisto Daniel married to Susannah Smith. Do anyone, either Cherese or Michael have any more information, I would really like to get in contact by mail with both of you so we can share information.

Because Svend sent my mother an article (in Danish) about the time the Daniel family owned the water islands. Quite interesting, if you would like it, I would gladly translate it for you.

Sure...

According to my grandfather Christoph his father told him the story about how is brother was killed. The story went that he was a violenice and may have been position in France during a competion. The police found him dead in his hotel room.

Hello! Christopher Nathaniel Daniel is my great great great great grandfather, and Charles Wellington Daniel is my great great great grandfather. But he had a daughter, Louise Marion which is my great great grandmother, so I think she was Cecil's sister. And she moved to Denmark with my great great grandfather Peterminus Rasmussen.

Dear Maria:
I am looking for a gentleman who died in St. Thomas in 1967. His name was John Rupert Andrew his date of death was Aug 6 1967. His body was supposed to be shipped back here, as was his wish, to Leadville, CO. I can find no indication that this was ever done. His daughter is now in her 80s and would like to know where her father is. Do you have this name on any of your lists? Thanks for listening.
