I know your post was from very long ago but I was wondering if Helen Lake was related to Isabella Lake - perhaps a sister. isabella reportedly grew up at Bluebeard's as well and she had a relationship with my great grandfather Theodore O'Mahoney and had several children. Any information on her would be appreciated.
