I am interested in information on my maternal grandfather's, Eric HUYGHUE (????-1944), family who own a sugar cane plantation called Estate Bordeaux on St. Thomas. He had two brothers, Ashley and Winthrop, and a sister Mabel. Eric and Ashley moved to the US and Winthrop and Mabel stayed on the island. I do know that in the 1950's Ashley arranged the sale of the plantation property to the island government to use as a housing development for the people of the island.
