Karen is my sister.

I wasn't trying to make a connection. I was only offering assistance.

Irvin gave me copies of the charts on his SEWER family several years ago; however, I am not actively researching that connection at this time. If there is a connection it would be through my great-great-grandmother, Ann Eliza ISAACS, b. 31MAR1829 in Tortola/d. 22APR1910 in St. Thomas, or her parents, Thomas and Phoebe ISAACS, who were slaves on the Pleasant Valley Estate in Tortola.

I have access to copies of the Road Town Methodist Church Baptismal Records from 1815 to 1840. Also Karen Fog Olwig's book "Cultural Adaptation and Resistance on St. John" lists
several mating relationships between slaves (no surnames are given) and their offspring at Carolina and Lameshur plantations from about 1833 to about 1847. However, I believe the SEWERs were free long before that based on information from Irvin and what few entries there were for St. John SEWER families in the Methodist Church baptismal records.
