Oh my goodness... I've been searching my family tree for awhile and always hit a roadblock on my Great Grandmother Florence Dohnert. I found this post today and was shocked by all the info you have. Records for florence show her birth in New York, but family stories always said she was born in the Carribbean. I know this is a very old post, but thank you! Any further information you have on the family would be awesome. I'd be happy to share Florence's descendants if you would like for your records.
