Robert,

Thank you for the link to your website, it has proved very useful.

The information I was seeking on 'Johnston' was his first names which turned out to be - 'WILLIAM WALKER WHITEHALL'

I do believe W.W.W. Johnston was in Nassau, Bahamas in 1858/60, can any list member confirm him being there and the reasons for his visit?
