I was in st. kitts for the second time this past July. There seem to be two strains- the ferriers who I did meet in sandy point, and the fararas who seemed to live primarily in Basaterre when they were there. I am looking for a Caroline Farara and/ or a charles sayers. Both would have been born around 1871. Charles may have been born there or english, and Caroline was Portugese. I am sort of at a dead end because I don't believe the ferriers were the direct relation, but very few if any farraras were left. The people who reported my grandfather's birth in 1889 (he is edwin sayers) by Caroline farara and no husbands name, but it was charles sayers, were Mary Fernand and Joseph Farara.
