I have found Alejandro Hasselmyer in the merchant / military records going out from Curacao and the West Indies between 1917 and 1920 only. I am wondering if he is brother or other relative to Miguel Hasselmyer [spelled several ways] also in the merchant marines and born in Curacao. Is anyone else reseaching either of these men?

Gday, I am trying to find ships manifests of crew, and passenger vessels that ran between Curaco,Inagua Bahamas, Nuevitas Cuba & the Usa during the late 1800's and early 1900's(for the Archer family). Thanking in advance, awaiting responses.

I know about Genlias, but those of Curacao are not in in yet,
in the meanwhile, someone was so nice to look for me in the Archiv of Curacao, but unfortunally couldn't find anything.
So I'll wait till I maybe find a new clue to it all.

Please check www.genlias.nl as they have records from the Netherlands Antilles recently posted. Also you can contact the National Archives in Curacao (www.archivonational.an) or the census office in Curacao. Check the website on Curacao. I wish you success.

I would like to inform everyone whom in one way or the other is connected to the van Romondt Family of the West Indian Branch that we are in search of any descendants/families of the branches of this family.

Many ancestors of the Van Romondt family of the West Indian Branch whom were born on the island of Sint Maarten emigrated to other Caribbean Islands such as Aruba, Curacao, Bonaire, Martinque, Sint Kitts, Sint Thomas etc,and to the U.S.A., Canada, Surinam, Holland, France, Belgium etc.) and raised their families.

Also if you are someone who is interested in the Van Romondt family of the West Indian Branch and have any information that can be of great help for the VR family tree project please contact me.

The goal of this family project is to bring together all descendants of the Van Romondt family of the West Indian Branch.

I'm a descendant of the Van Romondt Family of the West Indian Branch and together with other descendants we are doing this project and trying to get as much information we can about the family.

Hello,

I'm looking for information of Andries Zee and his family,
especially if he died in Curacao and if more children were born in Curacao (Willemstad?)
What I know is:
Andries Zee was born in The Netherlands in 1896 (town Hoogwoud), he married in 1924 to Henderina Meuldijk,
I have 1 child untill now: daughter Johanna Greta Zee, born in 1926 Willemstad.
Andries worked as employer and captain for the Curacao Steamship Company.
In Netherlands his death and possible more children couldn't be found.

Who can help me with this puzzle for my genealogy?
Any help would be very appreciated!

I am searching my family tree and the original name began with "de Nederlander" being known as the first use of the surename that eventually became Netherland. My name is Elsie Rivera. My family (the Riveras) are located in Trujillo Alto, Carolina and Luquillo, Puerto Rico. My parternal grandfather's name is Jesus Rivera also. My father's name was Juan A.
