There seems to be some confusion over the numerous Steadmans, so perhaps this may help:
Anne Taylor RAWLINS was baptised 22 Jun 1787 at Trinity, Palmetto Point, Nevis, B.W.I. Her brother Steadman was also baptised on the same date but was born in 1784; he married Gertrude TYSON 28 Mar 1805 in St. Kitts and one of his sons is also Steadman, born 5 Sep 1806 in St. Kitts.
Ann Taylor married 11 Sep 1803 at St. John, Eltham, Kent, England, her cousin Col. Steadman RAWLINS, born 24 Aug 1782, St. George's Nevis, baptised 10 Sep 1784, son of Henry RAWLINS (of Nevis) & his wife Elizabeth WILKES. Henry was acting Governor of the Leeward Islands in 1815.
One of Ann Taylor's sons is Stedman Akers RAWLINS born 7 April 1807 in St. Kitts.
Ann Taylor's father, The Hon. Steadman RAWLINS, (baptised 23 Feb 1754, in St. Kitts) and Henry RAWLINS (father of Col. Steadman RAWLINS) baptised 7 Jul 1761, probably in Nevis, were brothers, both sons of Steadman RAWLINS Sr. (bapt. 21 Dec 1725, Christ Church St. Kitts) & his wife Mary JOHNSON (married 31 Dec 1752).
I do not have a date for the birth or baptism of Elizabeth Taylor WHARTON, (dau of William WHARTON born 1734 St. Kitts, died 18 Sep 1784, Bath, Somerset, England & his wife Ann, maiden name unknown) but she died 18 Nov 1797 in England. She and the Hon Steadman RAWLINS married 15 Jan 1784. He also died in London, England, 12 Dec 1793.
You should probably try to consult Oliver's "Caribbeana", especially Volume III, whcih has much useful information on the RAWLINS and related families.
