A cache of papers dealing with the family business has been discovered in Canada. They relate that my great-great-great grandmother, Mary Ann Hodgson Lenaghan, had a claim -- along with her two sisters, "Mrs Hyndman" and "Mrs Anderson" -- on an estate called "Briggam." The calim appears to date from the late 1790's, or perhaps even a bit latter. Does anyone have any idea what "Briggam" refers to?
Thank you.
