In reply to Elmes Estate, Antigua.My research does not show much, but here is the following:
Ownership from 1668 Thomas Elmes.
1770 Mathew Christian
1790 Ledwell & Scott. 1829 Messrs. Hyndman. 1843 Philip Lyne. 1879
William Goodwin. 1921 Frank J. Goodwin until sold to the Syndicate Estates
in the 1960's.
In 1779 th eElmes in the Division of Non Such and Parish of St. Philip
contained 149 acres. In 1829 158 acres - 106 slaves.
"March 4 1667 Thomas Elmes granted 65 acres surveyed 5 June 1668" ... "1755
4th Death of Thos. Elmes, his seat in the Assembly vacant." V.Oliver

The sugar mill is still standing and in pretty good shape. The dates of
the owners were taken from old maps therefore reflect the period rather than
the exact date.
I am compiling information on all estates for the Museum of Antigua &
Barbuda so any further information would be welcome.
