Hi,
My interest in this thread is the Pink family. My ancestor was Richard Pink of Marylebone, Mdx. He is named as the son of Thomas Pink of Hasting, Ssx in his uncle George Pink's will of 1830. George Pink also named his brother John Pink of Jamaica, a late brother Richard of Bognor, Ssx and his still living brother Thomas of Hasting. There is a HastingS in Sussex but more interestingly a Harting. Looking at the Harting PR's there is a George, John and Richard Pink baptism that fits in with the ages of those named in George's will. There is also a Richard Pink baptism, son of Thomas, that fits in with my Richard. But being of the old school I need a bit more proof that there was a mistake in the will which maybe should have said Harting instead of Hasting. Does anyone have any evidence of where John Pink was born? And does anyone have the will of John Pink of Jamaica that might help me prove where the Pink boys were born. TIA. Sue

Further to my last post. I have purchased John Pink's will which states that his brother Thomas is of "Harting, Ssx which proves the birthplace of my Pink ancestors!
Sue
