Seeking information on William Edwin Ebenezer Foster. I don't know where he was born and can find no record of his birth. I do know that he had 15 children with Jane Ann Elizabeth Allen in Siloah St Elizabeth. The first being born in 1878 and the last in 1906.I have the names and birth dates of all their children.

Seeking information on my great grandmother Jane Ann Elizabeth Allen.I don't know where she was born, my grandfather said she was a maroon. I can however find no record of her birth. I do know that she had 15 children with William Edwin Ebenezer Foster.All her children were born in Siloah St Elizabeth starting in 1878, I have the names and birth dates of all their children.

She should be regarded as one of the giants of Jamaica's Education History, and she deserves to be remembered for her contribution to education in Jamaica in general and specifically to the lives of the many Conti students. William Henry Stewart Sr. c.1825 in Scotland? m. Miriam (Mary) Taylor.

One known son - William Henry Stewart Jr. (a.k.a. Henry/ Old Razor) c.1848 - 1932 buried in family plot in Helicon, m. Annie Cornelia Hines c.1854-1922. It is believed that William was a millwright and carpenter. They had at least 6 children. I am looking for the relatives of these children who were born in Cottage, Dry Harbour, Saint Ann:

Ernest Samuel Stewart b. Apr 15 1876, d. Jul 12, 1942 (died in New York, USA)
Alfred Hugh Stewart b. Jun 20 1879 – ? buried at Helicon
Edward Nathaniel Stewart b. June 4, 1881, d. April 3, 1959 (buried at Helicon)
Charles Arnold Stewart b. May 22 1883 - ? buried at Helicon
Maria Maude b. Jul 1 1886 – March 1960, buried at Helicon
Ida Idillia Stewart b. Nov 7 1888 - ?

There were possibly two other daughters Ada and Ella - not yet confirmed.

I am researching the life and work of the artist, Alexander Reddoch of Falkirk born in 1781. He was the son of Alexander Reddoch and Helen Walker. Helen was the sister of Ralph Walker, the engineer, sailor, inventor. George Walker, the Washington DC landowner, was also her brother.

I am trying to find information on Clementina Campbell born about 1870. She married Samuel Evans and I have confirmed 13 children for them. Eleven of the 13 were born in Adnagrass, Saint Anns. One in Silver Grove, Hanover and one unknown. I believe that Clementina was from possibly from Brown's Town as she may have had family there.

I am told that there is some connection to the Whitehorne Family, specifically Angie (Angela?) and Rebecca.

Any help to confirm Clementina's DOB, POB parents and or her marriage to Samuel is appreciated.

I did not receive a copy of the death certificate from you so I did not pursue it any further. I do know there were a few Campbell brothers who came to Jamaica from Scotland and settled in several parishes. Clarendon, Hanover and I believe if memory serves me correctly, Westmoreland was another. My Campbell's resided in Hanover.

I also have many Campbells in my family from Clarendon, Jamaica. We have a John Campbell, who had William Campbell in 1860. We also have another John Campbell who had Archibald Isaac.....in the mid 1800's

You can contact Registry general of Jamaica and give them the names of the people and they will look it up. You have to give them parish.There is a fee go to their web site, select genealogy.The marriage records are in Jamaican Archieve.

Looking for relatives of Great grandmother Mabel Campbell from Jamaica or Trinidad. Mabel Campbell died from malaria in Belize in 1921 at the age of 22. She was survived by her two children Donald and Edith, who stated that they believe their mother came from Jamaica or Trinidad. There were no other relatives in Belize. My great Uncle Vivian Edward Steers' (married Mabel Jean Thompson) mother was Lila Rosa Crawford.

Viv was born 7 May 1894 in Christiana, Jamaica. From a newspaper article, I know that his mother (who married George Philip Steers) died some time in 1928 in Christiana.

Does anyone out there know of Lila Crawford's parentage?

My grandfather's mom name is Joyce Ferguson. Joyce had my grandfather, Lincoln Harris in St Ann and soon after married a Heholt. She had other children with the last name Heholt.
