What year? There was a Joshua Budd whose gravestone in Sag Harbor, Suffolk, NY says "died at Port Au Prince, S.D. March 13, 1820 aged 55 years." Phebe, widow of Joshua Budd died Jan 12, 1854 aged 81 years (same stone.) See my posting on the Genforum Budd Message board of 8/25/01.
There was a Budd Stewart/Stuart family in Sag Harbor. In the 1600's John Budd of Rye and Southold made trips to the "Barbadoes".
