ISO Caribbean connection to ancestors: Benjamin ANTONIO or Harriet/Herriet PETERS of either island. They immigrated to NYC, USA in 1921. I think her brother John PETERS may have been their sponsor. My father, David George ANTONIO claimed Benjamin was a police officer in the early 30s who died June 1934 after returning from work and died as he sat in a chair awaiting my grandmother calling him to eat dinner. She may have called herself Harriet WILLIAMS(1940 federal census). She left a son, Issac and a daughter, Ismay TAYLOR in St Kitts. Ismay married a Mr Tuckett and immigrated to the U. S. Virgin Is. after 1959 with her children. I think Issac resided in FL.
