LOVING, Clare T. 90, of Yellow Springs, Ohio passed away on November 17, 2012 at Friends Care Center.
Clare was born on August 17, 1922 in Port Antonio, Jamaica, the daughter of the late Leslie and Jeanne (Stuart) Barnett.
Clare is remembered for her dedication of volunteer work at Springfield Community Hospital and Springfield Regional Medical Center for over 30 years. Her gentle nature, reliability and caring for others was noted by both patients and staff.
Her talents for knitting and baking were enthusiastically received at many different events in the Yellow Springs, Ohio community.
Clare was loved by all who came to know her. Her timeless beauty, understated elegance and grace were admired. Clare's dedication to others was anchored through her unyielding faith.
She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church where she lifted hearts with her angelic voice.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 43 years, Neal V. Loving; son-in-law, Rod Landers; and grandson, Aaron Loving.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Eileen Loving; daughter, Michelle Landers; grandchildren, Kieran (Milena), Adrian (Stephanie), Kate, Rodney, Carl and Neal; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Rafael and Conor; and brothers, Carl Barnett and Felix Barnett.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 19, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at JACKSON LYTLE & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME-Yellow Springs.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 10:00a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church. Burial to follow at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery.
