My Family in Jamaica begins with William Henry Bayley and Eliza Freckleton, they were married and had a family in Jamaica, my mother was born in Jamaica abt 1895, her brother Herbert, sister Elizabeth, Violet were also born there. I have come across the Freckleton name while researching my own family the McPhersons. Agnes Jane Freckleton was a witness at the wedding of my great great grandparents in Manchester, Jamaica in 1873. The other witness was a J.R. Freckleton. Agnes' husband was Thomas R. Freckleton, a schoolmaster at Wear Pen School House. Their son was named Washington, born 1872.

Not exactly what you asked about, but I guess it is not a common name, so probably the same family.
