My grandfather, Arthur Gellion Ogilvy, was born in Demerara in 1865, but there are records of his parents Alexander and Margaret residing in St. George, Roseau, Dominica in 1869 and 1879 Almanacks. Mrs. Ogilvy also ran a hotel in Roseau called "Mrs. Ogilvy's", which is now called "The Suttons". Arthur left Dominica to be educated in Ayr, Scotland, then remained in England. A friend named Duverney, believed to be West Indian, was a regular visitor there in approx. 1909-1917. He was possibly the father of my mother's sister Margaret. Arthur's sister Grace married Edward Agar, and I have traced his descendants. The other sister Alexa married a man named Frampton. Are there any members of his family or the Duverney family still living in Dominica?
