I am tracing my husband's family. His family came to Cuba from Spain, I do not know if they first went to the Canary Islands (I am trying to find out from living relatives). In any case, his great-grandfather's name was Antonio Cabrera and his great-grand-mother's was Carolina (surname unknown). We do not know how many children they had, except for Antonio Benito Cabrera, born in 1864 in Arroyo Naranjo, Cuba, husband of Francisca Barroso, born in 1870 in Havana. They had 6 children, Felino, Francisca, Regina, Rosalina, Antonio Miguel & Rogelio. Felino, my husband's father was born in Key West, Fl. in 1896.

On his mother's side (her name was Rosa Elizarde), she was born in Key West, FL in 1901, we know that her father's name was Antonio Elizarde, born in Santiago de las Vegas, Cuba, and her mother's name was Julia Marrero, born in Havana.
