Jorge,
I unintentionally overstated in my earlier message about looking at copies of Cuban
Parish Records. What I have are documents (Computer Database-generated) obtained through the Cuban Genealogical Society in Salt Lake City,
Utah which are an index of
Parish records in surname order for parishes in
Camaguey Province. The records were originally obtained through research accomplished by Francisco
Xavier de
Santa Cruz and his associates - about 40-50 years ago. He and his associates transcribed the parish records in Cuba firsthand.
My Camaguey document lists the type of record (marriage, etc), event date, name of
Parish, name of principals, witnesses, etc.
I also have the documents (Alphabetical Index) of
Parish Registers from Matanzas, Orients, Las
Villas, Matanzas and Habana.
These indexes (indices) have been published in 'Revista', the quarterly magazine of the Cuban Genealogical Society (CGS). The actual transcriptions for a record are available throught the Cuban Genealogical Society and also through the Family History Center in Miami.
If interested in contacting these organizations, you can reach them at following addresses ( Idon't have e-mail addresses):

I hope this helps. If I can provide additional information, just send me an e-mail.
Good luck on your genealogy and family history research.
