Any members or friends of the Bacardi family: My wife had friendship with Doña Lucía Echuerre as a child, and now regrets she has no photo in remembrance of this fine lady.

Should someone have a link to a photo, or would scan one to mail it, I am sure it would be appreciated

I knew a Mrs. Lucia Schueg Bacardi, she was a good friend of my family and my grandmother, could she be the one? She had a house in Cuba, moved to Hyannis, Mass then to Coral Gables, married Mr. Nielsen.

Lucia was probably a Bacardi because I am part of the family and I know a Mr.Neilson who married into the family.

Here, in 2009, I discover your reply to my post about Doña Lucia Shueg Bacardi, which I had posted in 2005.

My wife had formed a special bond, as a child, with your grandmother on a plantation Lucia had in Costa Rica, Miramar de Puntarenas,I am sure the woman you speak of as your grandmother is the same, my wife misunderstood the apellido. Do you have a photo of her?

She speaks of going many places with Lucia, and that the lady had invited her to Florida, where she was afraid to go. She appears to have been an exceptional woman, and brought the kids gifts for Christmas; Miriam saw her as a grandmother and a friend, and regrets not having a photo. Her Dad was capataz for the planatation.
