I am looking for a photo and documentation for a Cuban boxer Joe Coego. He boxed from 1931-1939 and won and lost the Cuban lightweight title around 1935-1938. His overall record was 18-8-7. I do not know his birthdate, parents, or marriage etc.

Would appreciate any leads.

Hi Fernando my name is Harold Coego Gonzalez and Im Joe Coego grandson from a diferent relation, with my grandma, i never got to met him, i live now in Vancouver BC canada, my Dad Nestor whos live now in Miami never talk to much about Joe but i knew back in Cuba that he was a champion because old people will recognize my last name, i got just one picture and i will love to see more of them, he looks just like my dad i will really appreciate it, i meet his other son Jose (pepe), the Doctor when i was a child in back in cuba and really never saw him again, anyway i hope not to bother you with all this talk but i kinda want to see the pics take care and thanks a lot

Hi Harold, I'm the great-grandson of Joe. My Grandmother is his daughter, and Jose(Pepe) is my Grand-mother's Brother. My Grand-mother has lot's of pictures of Joe, pictures of his wedding, when he won his title, etc. I will appreciated if you could send me your Dad"s telephone number and address here in Miami,so I could take my Grand-mother to see Him.
